  • Responsibilities

    DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

    This is a full-time, 100% remote position, for self-starters who are able to focus and

    communicate effectively using virtual tools (e.g., Zoom, email, phone, etc.)

    Co-manage evaluation and research projects, conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses,

    write reports and develop and administer evaluation instruments.

    RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    Co-manage evaluation projects with Evaluator Lead.

    Independently manage small projects or components of large evaluation

    projects

    Communicate with clients (co-lead client calls for all projects, email

    communication with evaluation updates, and attend client meetings, including

    some travel)

    Engage in cross-team projects led by different Evaluator Lead/Directors

    Monitor time for task completion

    Develop and review project invoices.

    DATA COLLECTION, MANAGEMENT AND ANALYSIS

    Develop evaluation instruments including surveys, evaluation forms, interview.

    protocols, focus group protocols, assessment rubrics, etc.

    Administer surveys, and conduct focus groups, interviews, observations, among

    other data collection methods

    Develop data analysis plans.

    Prepare, create, and manage master databases for projects.

    Clean and analyze quantitative and qualitative data by applying appropriate.

    analysis techniques

    REPORTING

    Develop report outlines.

    Develop reports of all types in user-friendly, accessible formats that meet clients’.

    needs

    Develop relevant data visualizations.

    Review analyses and writing is done by research analysts.

    Contribute to formally and informally presenting at project meetings, advisory.

    board meetings, and conferences.

    EVALUATION DESIGN

    Assist with developing detailed evaluation plans, logic models, and concept

    maps Contribute to the methodological and theoretical design of evaluation and

    research projects

    Conduct literature reviews to identify appropriate evaluation methods.

    TEAM MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP

    Supervise and coach/mentor Research Analysts

    Communicate within and outside of team regarding priorities, task progress, and

    task completion • Assist with preparing employee performance reviews and

    professional develop plans, co-conduct performance reviews, and assist with

    implementing professional development plans

    Participate in hiring (i.e. screening resumes, job interviews)

    OTHER

    Assist with developing new business

    Other evaluation and research-related responsibilities as customarily performed

    by an employee in a similar position

    Participate in professional development activities to benefit the individual, team,

    and company

    Participate in committees (optional)

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Master’s degree in a field in which evaluation-related skills were learned and

    practiced • At least 2 years of data preparation, analysis and reporting

    experience in an evaluation-related • field

    REQUIRED EVALUATION/RESEARCH KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    Proficiency in R and Excel and statistical analysis methods is strongly preferred

    Strong statistical analysis skills and ability to learn new methods

    Familiarity with experimental and quasi-experimental research and evaluation

    Familiarity with online survey management platforms (ie. Survey Gizmo,

    Qualtrics)

    Experience developing evaluation forms, surveys, and focus group and

    interview protocols Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    Excellent writing, communication, and data visualization skills

    Experience in evaluation and research writing and presentation in academic and

    applied contexts.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
