    Job Description

    The Marlin Alliance, Inc. is seeking a JavaScript Developer to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position supports our Navy customer and requires the ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.

    Established in 2002, The Marlin Alliance, Inc. – a woman-owned small business – provides transformation consulting, professional services, and technical support to government, military, healthcare, telecommunications, and utility industry clients.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Use software frameworks, technologies and programming languages to improve system performance, reduce overall life-cycle costs, risks, and increase the potential for interoperability.
    • Use latest standard frameworks, technologies and design patterns to increase application portability and maintainability.
    • Plan for software development and sustainment by selecting appropriate software life-cycle models (e.g., agile, spiral, iterative, evolutionary).

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript
    • Experience with Python
    • Experience in applying analytical skills to support process improvement, studies, and analysis projects
    • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline from accredited college/university.
    • Experience with Data Science and Computer Vision
    • Experience with Angular
