JOB DUTIES: Our Client seeks a Software Engineer III specializing in build, release and test for their facility in Ashburn, VA. The primary duties include: • Software release management including build infrastructure, configuration management, automated testing and documentation for new Spectrum Access System products and features within an Agile-Scrum development team. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent required • 5+ years of direct build, release and test experience with Java microservices on Linux platforms • Expertise in Python and shell scripting • Experience deploying and testing within Docker containers for Amazon Web Services • Experience building Java projects using Gradle or Maven • Experience with source code control using Perforce • Experience with Continuous Integration testing using Jenkins both developing and executing test cases • Experience working directly with software developers to provide detailed descriptions of encountered issues and working together to resolve • Additional expertise in PostgreSQL, Couchbase and JIRA is an advantage • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Contract assignment On-site work M- F 8-5 flexible Ashburn, VA Must haves: experience with Testing in Microservices Expertise in writing code in Python & Shell AWS experience
