General Summary
Seeking a Product Manager.
We are looking for an enthusiastic product champion that can take total product line ownership & responsibility to help our customer expanding its leadership in the emerging Private Networks market.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage in regular use cases & requirements discussions with internal & external customers
- Identify product gaps and opportunities for product improvements
- Create & prioritize an impactful HW roadmap with multiple influencing factors like timing, delivery schedule, market requirements in mind
- Create detailed market requirements documents and perform business case analysis
- Author detailed PRDs to guide engineering in the creation of HLD and technical requirements document
- Support response to RFI, RFP and RFQ
- Identify opportunities and drive execution of cost reduction initiatives with engineering and supply chain
- Drive productization initiatives including product documentation and data sheets
- Communicate product requirements to components vendors and support supply chain negotiation
- Work closely with operations throughout product life cycle to ensure product cost targets are met and order fulfillment processes are in place
- Manage components EOL by keeping close interaction with supply chain
- Interact with business development and sales for product pricing
- Work closely with engineering to keep track of technology advancements and identify opporunities for new product/technology introduction
- Monitor and account for activities within industry alliances that may have an impact on product radio aspects
Required Skills
- > 8 years of experience in Small Cells / RAN HW product management
- Proven track record of successful products & solutions launches
- Comprehensive knowledge of managing complete product life cycle
- Knowledge of CBRS ecosytem and experience in CBRS products management is a plus
- Experience with SoC and/or FPGA based products architecture
- Good understanding of enterprise wireless market, including use cases and product requirements
- Experience with products type approvals, regulatory frameworks and requirements
- Good technical understanding of LTE/5G NR and Ethernet/IP protocols
- Good technical understanding of RF components and engineering
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, presentations, motivation, target setting and team building
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work and drive alignment within cross-functional teams
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a related curriculum and 10+ years relevant experience; or Master's Degree with 8+ years
