Fintech start-up opportunity with heavily backed funding!

The Maven Group's client is looking for talented software development testers to assist with their new company. They are focused on developing a financial technology (fintech) software project to serve companies worldwide in stock market trading. You could be a part of this exciting opportunity on the ground level! Our client is looking for a direct hire for candidates local to their headquarters in Orem, Utah.

Must-haves for this position: 

• Four-year technology-based degree (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.)
• 1-3+ years automation experience; software coding skills
• Competency in Eclipse/IntelliJ, Jira, GIT, SQL, Confluence
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux
• Software testing experience including defect reporting, metric tracking, white/black box testing, integration testing, system testing, and unit testing.
• Java programming and Web/Mobile Testing experience a plus

Some duties of this position:

• Design and develop Selenium and Java based automated test programs and suites for new product functionality.
• Develop and debug automated tests for use in production; analyze test results for non-deterministic tests and make corrections as needed during testing cycles, report defects.
• Liaison and work with the QA Manager, Program Management and development in accordance with software release priorities and schedules.
• Design and develop proprietary Java testing applications for multiple departments
