We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Porter to join our team and help us uphold our community’s excellence.

Job Summary:
As a Porter at The Maywood Apartments, you will play a crucial role in the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the property. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the grounds and common areas are spotless, assisting with minor maintenance tasks, and providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors. This position requires a proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of property upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address cleanliness and maintenance issues.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensure all trash and debris is promptly collected and disposed of properly.
- Help maintain the landscaping and outdoor areas, including sweeping, weeding, and planting as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist with the preparation of vacant units for new residents, including cleaning and minor repairs.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in property management is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair work is an advantage.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
