Lark Hotels is seeking a part-time Housekeeper at our boutique location in Salem, MA, The Merchant. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for preserving the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces on the property. Your duties will include tidying up the accommodations in accordance with hotel protocols, laundering linen, arranging bedding, and replenishing guest room amenities. Responsibilities: • Clean and upkeep guest rooms, hallways, and public areas at The Merchant in Salem, MA • Execute cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, bed-making, sheet changing, and laundry tasks as necessary • Monitor cleaned rooms and document any lost items, damages, or maintenance requirements • Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned • Maintain the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms in a well-maintained condition • Prepare and set up hotel rooms to meet the hotel's quality standards prior to guest check-in • Assist guests with general inquiries and fulfill their requests • Seek opportunities to elevate the experience of our guests. Qualifications: • Must be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm • Immediate availability is a must for this role • Display meticulous attention to detail • Required to be a dedicated, flexible worker with exceptional time management, organizational, and communication abilities • Our ideal candidate would be someone who finds joy in delighting others and who will appreciate how special our boutique property is • Preferably, possess over 1 year of professional housekeeping experience • Have a solid grasp of cleaning methods and products Compensation: $16 - $17 hourly
