Job Description

The Mill’s internship program will be held onsite at our LA studio (tentatively between July-August 2023). This internship offers an opportunity for students to gain the knowledge and skills required to work in a high-end commercial postproduction environment.

The disciplines we are looking for in candidates are:

• Modeling & Texturing
• Animation
• Rigging
• Shading & lookdev
• Lighting & rendering
• FX
• Digital matte painting

Qualifications

• Currently be at least 18 years old.
• Have a general understanding of the Film and VFX process, with a desire to work in the industry.
• Knowledge of using 3D software and understanding of 3D art creation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues.
• Ability to work within a strong team environment.
• Submit recent reel, thesis, portfolio, or personal work.
• Highly creative, with an eye for high quality visuals and technical perfection.
• Proactive in picking up proprietary tools and new techniques.

Additional Information

The pay range for this full-time staff position is: $20/hour, which is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law.
