The Mill is looking for a Previs Artist to join their team in New York.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-visualizing complex VFX and CG Animation advertising projects in Maya
Working collaboratively with Directors, VFX Supervisors and other VFX Artists
Come up with visual solutions to best communicate the client and director's vision
Create sequences of shots from storyboards and scripts
Provide technical documentation and data for shots that will be filmed on set
Qualifications
Previous experience with Previs and strong interest in storytelling
Knowledge of cinematic language and fundamentals of staging, lensing and composition
Familiarity with pipeline issues and a typical post production environment
Strong working knowledge of Maya, with adequate knowledge of Rigging
Experience with Nuke, Premiere, After Effects is a plus
