    Job Description

    The Moore Law Group is seeking a full time, on site Compliance Specialist for our Santa Ana, CA office. This position supports the Audit and Compliance Manager, responsible for providing information related to audit requests, supports in auditing the firm's collections, litigation and accounting process flow.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Respond to routine and ad-ho client audit requests. This would include gathering, maintaining, and organizing data in order to satisfy those requests.
    • Completes client mandated audit request on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. These requests are communicated directly to the client.
    • Audit reports from various department to ensure complete and accurate reporting of information.
    • Run various reports through the data management system (JST) in order to acquire said data to complete audits and special reports.
    • Perform audits of inbound and outbound calls to assess compliance with company procedures and client requirements. This includes conducting weekly call scoring and gathering, maintaining and organizing score cards in order to track monthly trends and monitor effectiveness of remediation actions plans.
    • Review existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and potential weaknesses that may cause inaccurate reporting.
    • Assist Audit and Compliance Manager in assuring compliance with federal regulations are being followed, including FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, HIPAA, ADA, SCRA, and any other pertinent regulatory requirements.
    • Observe internal control procedures and evaluate their effectiveness.
    • Manage projects, including departmental and division initiatives.
    • Respond quickly and professionally to any client inquires.
    • Remain current on technological and business process trends in the industry.
    • Ability to effectively plan and execute audit assignments, including documentation of audit approach and findings.
    • Perform other duties as needed to ensure maximum collection effort are made for the client

    REQUIREMENT/EXPERIENCE

    • Ability to obtain and analyze transnational data, as well as evaluate the accuracy of business transactions in accordance with company procedures and contracts.
    • Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.
    • Strong organization skills and close attention to detail.
    • Good interpersonal skills with ability to acquire information from subject matter experts, as well as communicate findings to management.
    • Basic understanding of debt collection and legal processes.
    • Ability to identify business process improvements and report existing deficiencies to management.
    • Ability to analyze and manipulate large volumes of transaction-level detail.
    • Collection/Law Firm industry experience preferred.
    • Experience in identifying existing process improvement
    • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel experience preferred
