Job Description
The Mission
To ensure the viability and productivity of Morning Star operations through the protection and security of Colleagues, facilities and assets.
Qualifications
Ability to operate radio and telephone equipment
Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
Effective oral and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
Proficiency with standard office computer and web applications (Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word)
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Highly responsive and proactive, able to own tasks from start to finish
Maintain high level of attention to detail
Knowledge of CCTV
Leadership
Strong focus on safety in all aspects of activity
Ability to learn, and work proficiently with, our in-house programs/database system, used to organize all aspects of security operations
Ability to read and write clearly. A strong focus on clear, open and professional communication
Bilingual English-Spanish a plus
College degree in related activities a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required
Be at least 18 years of age
As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
