    The Nectar Group is hiring a Psychometrist to administer one-to-one cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments. You will play a vital role in positively and dramatically impacting the lives of both school age students (K-12) and adults. We complete a comprehensive assessment process as part of our approach of being able to identify root causes of learning challenges, areas of strength, and clarity on the best recommendations for interventions that will resolve learning challenges. Assessments are also administered upon completion of interventions and you will be able to be a part of seeing first hand and celebrating the amazing growth that students in our programs realize. The assessment process is also key in determining those students who are not a good fit for our interventions so that we can refer them to other programs or interventions that will be right for them.

    The Nectar Group works with clients to improve their cognitive and academic skills such as; memory, executive functioning and problem solving along with content areas of reading, writing, and math through cognitive training, academic coaching, and study skills coaching. We work with students who want to unlock their full potential in order to overcome learning challenges and disabilities. We provide unique, customized coaching and tutoring programs. Our one-on-one programs solve the underlying root issues to learning and memory challenges.

    The consists of the following responsibilities:

    · Administers the following assessments: WJIV-COG, WJIV-ACH, WAIS, WISC, NDRT, CTOPP, GORT, BRIEF, BASC, CONNORS, IVA-2, and DKEFS

    · Administers additional achievement assessments as needed such as ADAM and DORA math and reading tests

    · Grades assessments and documents behavioral observations during testing

    · Ensures that assessments are given to standardization

    · This position is a part-time position with a minimum of 16 hours required-more hours are available if desired. We administer assessments M-F at 8am and 1pm and Saturdays at 8am, 11:30am, and 2:45pm Mountain Time. You would be setting availability to work within those times regardless of what time zone you reside in.

    Assessments Manager Qualifications:

    · Master’s Degree strongly preferred but psychometrists with a bachelors degree will be considered. A degree in the field of in School Psychology, Education, Psychology, Speech and Language, OT, Educational Psychology, or Clinical Psychology preferred.

    · It is helpful but not required that graduate level course work has been completed in the following areas of study:

    o Basic tests and measurements

    o Descriptive statistics

    o Intelligence/cognitive testing

    o Speech, hearing, and language assessment

    o Intelligence/cognitive testing

    o Educational diagnostics

    o Neuropsychological assessment

    o Projective techniques

    o Developmental milestone assessment

    Must be comfortable working with all ages and ability levels from talented and gifted, typical learners, to individuals with learning disabilities.

    Must be technologically savvy with experience and fluency using a MAC.

    Clean background check and excellent references required.

    Must be able to lift at least 25lbs. and climb one or more flights of stairs.

    Please note that while this is a remote position, you must treat the position as if you were in an office during work hours. This means that you must be at your home office during work hours (not in a coffee shop, library, etc.) You must have daycare/childcare arrangements for any children. You must have a dedicated work space that is free from distractions and interruptions of pets, family members, housemates, etc. and that is professional in nature. Because some of our services fall under HiPAA, confidentiality must be maintained and no other family members (children or adults) may overhear business or client interactions.
