    WHO AND WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    This is the perfect opportunity for a highly experienced controller that can add significant value as the leader of our finance organization and is looking for the right home where they can continue to grow into a VP Finance and CFO role.

    The Controller role is our highest finance position that leads both the hands on management of our finances as well as working closely with senior leadership and owners to guide company decisions and strategy.

    The role is supported by additional accounting staff, but we do need someone that is hands-on with managing all things finance.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Significant experience in a Controller or higher role in a complex manufacturing environment
    • Hands-on experience in managing all aspects of finance including management of AR, AP, general ledger, financial statements, cashflows, banking/treasury, etc.
    • Experience developing controls and finance systems from-the-ground up
    • Significant experience managing a team of supporting accounting resources
    • Experience working strategically with senior leadership to provide valuable finance perspective inputs
    • Incredibly strong logic that can apply to solving any problem

    GENERAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform month-end close including: journal entries, accruals, revenue recognition, reconciling general ledger accounts, and bank reconciliations
    • Perform and manage daily operations of general ledger, accounts payable, expense reimbursement, corporate credit card monitoring, payroll, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable invoicing and cash receipts, and cash flow management.
    • Be responsible for reporting functions such as actual vs budget variance, consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows reporting according to GAAP.
    • Run the day-to-day finance operations for the company with the opportunity to build and shape the financial operations.
    • Continually implement improvements and processes to streamline company functions.
    • Monitor asset acquisition and disposal, and related depreciation and amortization schedules.
    • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
    • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
    • Oversee tax processes and reporting, in compliance with local, state and federal law.
    • Develop, maintain, and monitor key operating metrics.
