    The Network’s Mission:

    _The Network’s mission is to defeat human trafficking networks and ultimately prevent vulnerable individuals from being exploited. _We use skills honed in counterterrorism, law enforcement, the intelligence community, public policy and communications to disrupt traffickers’ business models.

    The Network is hiring a temporary W2, PART-TIME INTERN FOR THE PROGRAM TEAM. This critical teammate will work approximately 10-20 hours per week to provide essential research and outreach support to our Lead Analyst during the Spring 2023 semester (and possibly Summer 2023). The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, efficient, and able to meet deadlines.

    THE ROLE:

    PROGRAM TEAM INTERN

    RESEARCH SUPPORT

    ·       Perform research tasks to optimize the Program Team’s time/work in areas of law, finance, economics, and social issues.

    ·       Create products (spreadsheets, graphics) to document research conducted and for potential use in published research briefs.

     

    ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS

    ·       Assist the Program Team with admin tasks including:

    • identifying key audiences for our work and building contact/outreach lists
    • formatting written products and visuals for external audiences
    • compiling/documenting research findings to ensure good knowledge management practices.

    ·       You are remarkably unconcerned with getting individual credit; driven in large part by the intrinsic rewards of contributing to a winning team. 


     

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    ·       This is an entry level position. It does not require a Bachelor’s Degree.

    ·       You must be willing to undergo The Network’s standard professional background check.

    ·       This is a fully remote position with access, if desired, to The Network’s office in Arlington, VA.     

     

    REPORTS TO: LEAD ANALYST
