POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technology Consultant (vCIO) is responsible for defining, setting and managing customer expectations, and for working with all other delivery areas to ensure client satisfaction. The Technology Consultant (vCIO) maintains current knowledge of the client’s business requirements and is the final authority on steering client’s technology within our organization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The vCIO is the face of the company when running meetings with the clients. They are responsible for grooming and maintaining the relationships we have with our clients. They provide technology budgets, technology summaries, and are in constant communication on up coming new technology we provide.

• Work with client on key business objectives
• Align client technology with business objectives
• Provide custom facing quarterly Technology Summary Reports
• Client technology asset management
• Annual estimated technology budget, strategies and initiatives
• Solutions and recommendations
• Communicate customer chronic issues with Help Desk Manager
• Assist in Project design and SOW for project engineers
• Accompany sales department on Kick off meetings

THE TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT/VCIO MUST:

• Be Positive and provide amazing customer service to our clients and staff
• Strive for Personal Accountability
• Take direction and constructive criticism with a positive “can do” attitude
• Communicate effectively utilizing various mediums including phone, email, and a service ticketing system.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve IT issues and escalate matters when needed
• Pay attention to detail and complete task per defined process
• Learn our company way of delivering world class service to ensure alignment with our team, including: our technologies, processes, and metrics for success
• Have a flexible attitude, be creative, and have fun!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ Years experience in a technical sales, project management, and or technical consultant role
• Experience and familiarity with the following: Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows desktop and server systems as well as Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting, etc.), remote access technologies (VPN, terminal services, etc.), vendor management (email, hosting, DNS)
• One or more technical certifications (MCP, MTA, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCA, VCP)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation as you will be travel about 4 of the 5 days out of the week.
