    Job Description

    Our HELP DESK SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL is responsible for assisting and supporting the IT infrastructure for our technology-driven clients located throughout Orange County. This position requires amazing Customer Service skills, a well-rounded technical background, strong business intuition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the corporate structure. HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

    • Be Positive and provide amazing customer service to our clients and staff
    • Strive for Personal Accountability
    • Take direction and constructive criticism with a positive “can do” attitude
    • Utilize remote access technologies to provide proactive and reactive IT support to our clients
    • Communicate effectively utilizing various mediums including phone, email, and a service ticketing system.
    • Effectively document client IT environments, applications, and resolution steps in our document management system
    • Collaborate with other team members to resolve IT issues and escalate matters when needed
    • Pay attention to detail and complete task per defined process
    • Review Service Tickets to ensure they are completed per defined procedure
    • Ensure all Service Level Agreement Targets are met
    • On a rotation basis provide after-hours Client Support.
    • Travel to client sites to provide IT service if needed/ assigned
    • Learn our company way of delivering world class service to ensure alignment with our team, including: our technologies, processes, and metrics for success
    • Have a flexible attitude, be creative, and have fun!

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of full time hands on experience managing business class desktop/ network technologies.
    • One or more technical certifications (MCP, MTA, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCA, VCP)

    TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:

    • Remote Experience Troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 7, 10 in a business environment
    • Remote Experience managing/ troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012
    • Proficient with Active Directory Administration and Group Policy Management
    • Proficient LAN/ WAN Network Connectivity Troubleshooting Experience
    • Proficient managing and configuring Hyper V
    • Proficient configuring/ Troubleshooting Firewalls
    • Proficient configuring/ Troubleshooting Network Switches including VLANs
    • Experience with Backup/ Disaster Recovery Devices
    • Experience Configuring/ Troubleshooting NAS devices
    • Experience with Remote Management Tools

    EXPERIENCE WITH:

    • Connectwise
    • Lab Tech
    • Dell Servers
    • Cloud services: Office 365
    • Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop
    • StorageCraft
    • SonicWALL, OpenDNS security technology
    • APC UPS and Powerchute

    KEY SOFT SKILLS:

    • Strong Communication Skills
    • Awesome Customer Service
    • Passionate about documentation, standards, and process
