    Job Description

    This position supports the New Jersey Children's Alliance's (NJCA) mission to promote hope, healing and justice for child abuse victims by supporting Child Advocacy Centers throughout the state with training, resources, advocacy, and leadership. NJCA aims to provide children and their non-offending family members with access to high quality, comprehensive, specialized services. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the finance specialist will perform functions related to the support of NJCA's programs and the day-to-day operations. Duties and Responsibilities: · Assist with grant reporting requirements · Collect supporting documentation and maintain grant records · Process payments, checks, and reimbursements · Collaborate with bookkeeper on fiscal documentation and reports · Assist with audit, to include compiling necessary documentation · Gather data, create forms and surveys, and compile reports for NJCA and membership needs · Respond to technical assistance requests from membership · Maintain and continually facilitate positive relationships with multidisciplinary team partners · Provide support for all special events · Perform day-to-day operations and administrative tasks, including maintaining the staff calendar, recordkeeping, and ordering supplies · Provide administrative support to the Executive Director · Promote NJCA and the CAC model through attendance and participation at conferences, community events, and community outreach · Attend local, statewide, and national conferences, meetings and events · Work collaboratively with Board Committees, as needed · Perform any additional duties in line with the scope of the position, as directed by NJCA staff Minimum Professional Requirements and Skills · Bachelor's degree in social services, public administration, business, or related field · Experience assisting with financial administration and day-to-day operations · Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) skills required · Interest in child abuse prevention, response, and intervention · Ability to travel statewide and to national conferences · Strong organizational and time management skills · Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Company Description The New Jersey Children's Alliance's (NJCA) mission to promote hope, healing and justice for child abuse victims by supporting Child Advocacy Centers throughout the state with training, resources, advocacy, and leadership.
