    Our Oakland law firm is small enough that everyone is a critical part of the team, yet big enough to offer the security you want. Work where you personally know the managing attorney and have daily interaction with the clients we serve. You set the stage for first impressions of the law firm so you must be committed to making a good one every day for every client. Responsibilities: • Answer and direct phone calls as well as schedule client calls and meetings • Assist the team with ministerial tasks and to ensure the systematic flow of communication in the office • Maintain the office calendar, remind staff of upcoming appointments and meetings, set up conference rooms, and ensure clients are greeted upon entry into the office • Conduct client intakes, schedule consultations and accurately maintain the tracking list of potential new clients • Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients who want to engage our firm and guiding them through the expectations of working with our office • Provide ongoing customer service to current clients, engage with individuals who visit or call the office in a positive and efficient way, and assist in various areas of the firm as needed Qualifications: • Must be high energy, enthusiastic, and empathetic • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have comfort using Mac products • Dependability, punctuality, and consistency are key character traits for success in this position • You must have excellent communication skills, pay attention to detail, have a professional attitude, and complete projects within the assigned deadlines • Night and weekend availability is required Compensation: $14.50 - $15 hourly
