    Job Summary:
    We are looking for an experienced and talented sales professional. In this role, you will support prospective customers in their decision-making by leading the sales cycle and successfully selling the world leading PIM solution.


    The Sales Director identifies, develops and closes sales opportunities within North America. The Sales Directors primary responsibility is to acquire new customers and drive revenue from existing clients, through direct sales of the PIM solution.

    We are looking for a business athlete who is an influential team player – hungry, nimble and intelligent – with the ability and willingness to close complex enterprise deals.

    As a Regional Sales Director you will:

    • Own the sales cycle – from lead qualification to closure
    • Create and drive revenue in North America, meeting sales targets and coordinating sales projects
    • Utilize strong business acumen, including best practices and business processes, to understand and translate business requirements and solutions strategy to customers and prospects
    • Partner with the pre-sales team and Systems Integration (SI) partners during the sales process to assist in developing strategies, planning and execution
    • Support marketing activities by engaging in webinars, blogs, conferences and other marketing events to promote our solutions and show thought leadership in the PIM space
    • Help shape the evolution of our PIM product by partnering with Product Management, Product Marketing, Development and Professional Services by providing market feedback and industry insights
    • Co-ordinate with pre-sales to complete responses to RFPs
    • Drive brand awareness and business opportunities through campaigns, and lead generation via social networking, associations, events etc.
    • Develop the North American business plan and present the business plan during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
    • Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal forecasting system
    • Ensure customer satisfaction with the goal of developing strong reference customers

    The successful Regional Sales Director candidate will have:

    • A proven sales hunter and closer
    • Strong track record of sales excellence, selling to C-level (CMO is a plus) and senior leaders
    • 5 years plus of enterprise software outside sales experience
    • Expertise with competitive PIM and/or MDM software preferred
    • Strong preference for experience in selling software (including cloud-based) to marketing and eCommerce teams
    • Understanding of the Retail, Distribution and Manufacturing sectors and experience in sales or consulting to these segments would be highly appreciated
    • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to build relationships with customers and to communicate with sales team members and technical staff
    • Be able to work independently & as part of a team in a fast pace, rapidly change environment
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT, eCommerce, sales or a related discipline
    • Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time, both within North America and occasionally globally
    • Strong leadership and teaming skills
