Job Description

Focus on and dedicated to providing manufacturing services capable of producing high quality plasmid DNA which can be used for many applications including GMP manufacture of gene therapy products. These services include the following:

CONTRACT PLASMID DNA PRODUCTION SERVICES

·        Transfection_Ready_ - small scale, fast and economical

·        Research_Ready_ - large scale for research applications

·        IND_Ready_™ - for further manufacture of GMP products

Perform contract purifications following established batch records and SOPs including Transfection READY, Research READY, I_NDREADY®_

·        Perform preparation of purification processing components including:

• • Packing of PolyFlo® columns and Blank run complete process related documentation.
    • Prepare designated purification solutions for IND_Ready®_
    •  Research _Ready _and Transfection Ready processes
    • Prepare IND_Ready® _Manufacturing Summaries as assigned by Quality.
    • Wash glassware.
    • Operate Dishwasher.
    • Ensure clean work environment.
    • Serve as a member of the safety committee as required.
    • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• BS in Biology (or equivalent) or equivalent work experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid communication skills.
