    Job Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CLIENT ENGAGEMENT MANAGER:

    • Manage client relationships and projects, delivering value to the client and benefit to the agency
    • Develop and implement marketing plans/programs aligned with client objectives and budgets
    • Oversee and assist in the development of Client Engagement Plans and brand plans at clearly determined intervals
    • Oversee the development of work orders, creative briefs, status reports, and other written materials and ensure that they are prepared according to processes
    • Participate in client presentations and meetings
    • Demonstrate business acumen skills by accurately forecasting workflow, anticipating financial impacts, assuring prompt and accurate billing and understanding the interaction of agency and client business goals
    • Demonstrate strategic relationship management skills by owning the day-to-day client relationship, probing to uncover client needs, fully understanding client performance drivers and gains loyalty by consistently delivering value
    • Demonstrate strategic planning and critical thinking skills by anticipating client needs, consistently monitoring for challenges, and proactively leveraging agency resources to deliver breakthrough solutions
    • Demonstrate strategic execution and implementation skills by translating client plans into on time and within budget solutions in a manner consistent with the stated goals and strategies of the project
    • Demonstrate market knowledge with a thorough understanding of regulatory/legal requirements, clients’ customer base, and industry media channels

    REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CLIENT ENGAGEMENT MANAGER:

    • Must have experience with modern integrated marketing
    • Don't need to code but need to understand where it goes.
    • Must have experience within the healthcare industry.
    • Must have account management experience
    • BA/BS Degree
    • 4+ years of experience in a client management role at an advertising/digital agency.
    • Solid understanding of marking communications mix (ads, mail, collateral, interactive, etc.) and its uses.
    • Must be a hands on manager who is able to get in the thick of things.
