    Job Description

    The School Program and External Events Manager oversees the Bringing Hope Home (BHH) school partnership program and is responsible for successfully sustaining current partnerships while providing support to students and student groups (elementary-college level) as they initiate fundraisers, volunteer at events and advocate for BHH.  This person is also responsible for the successful implementation of external events, including coordinating with Marketing and Communication Manager in marketing, public relations associated with events and execution of all event planning and logistics.  Additionally, this person will be accountable for achieving performance targets and gaining new partnerships.

    Fundraising & School Development: Manage current partnerships, recruit new schools, establish sustainable relationships with on-campus figures, coordination of school event logistics, etc.

    Marketing & PR: Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Manager to create news stories for the BHH website, seek out media attention via press releases for news coverage, e-blast invitations, event reminders, thank you emails, and social media recognition, etc.

    External Event Management: Lead all external event logistics, communication, and planning. Build and grow relationships with current external events to grow income, identify and engage new and potential external events.

    Additional Information

    Bachelor's Degree. Preferred: Bachelors plus additional fundraising-related certification(s), or a degree in business, communications, public relations or related field.

    2-3-plus years of professional experience is preferred.

    Working knowledge in Microsoft Office as well as basic technical skills. 

    Working Hours: Mon-Fri, some evening and weekend availability is required. 

    Travel: Going to events around the area is needed

    Due to COVID-19, our office has a hybrid working model in place, working partially remotely and partially from our office in Malvern, PA. When we can return to work in person fully, employees will return to our office in Malvern, PA.
