    Job Description

    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Traditional B2B:

    · Email/call on leads and existing customers

    · Leverage product knowledge to create sales strategies with marketing team

    · Prepare and maintain monthly sales forecasts

    · Oversee incoming orders and maintain shipping schedule with warehouse manager

    · Assist Office Manager/Bookkeeper with invoicing and account updates within Quickbooks

    · Manage key account paperwork and onboarding including EDI and routing guides

    · Be proactively engaged in cross selling with all departments and maximize sales opportunity in order to achieve individual sales target and KPIs

    · Build, analyze & present reports to support business decisions, including distribution, marketing activity requests, and promotional plans

    · Monitor and report competitor activity online and relay information to internal teams

    · Understand and be aware of retailer policies and requirements and communicate any updates to pertinent internal teams

    Digital B2B:

    · Create and make sales presentations to prospects and existing accounts via Powerpoint and Zoom

    · Maintain and develop client relationships via digital tools

    · Manage B2B platforms such as Faire, Tundra, Abound, etc.

    · Stay up-to-date with latest wholesale platforms and new sales channels

    · Engage on social media platforms to search and message leads and interact with existing customer accounts

    · Manage Shopify wholesale site and work with developers and marketing team to keep the site updated with seasonal promotions, product launches, inventory changes, and content needed for new and existing accounts

    · Manage product online from initial upload to implementing marketing and promotion plans to drive awareness through the product lifecycle

    · Maintain and update pricing, content, specs, and images on retail sites ensuring all information and assets are accurate

    · Proactively manage sales & merchandising activities for assigned B2B eCommerce retailers to include negotiation of contracts, terms, and pricing

    Outside Sales Reps & Tradeshows:

    · Regularly communicate with outside sales reps regarding existing accounts in their territory and potential customers

    · Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis

    · Manage all incoming inquiries from sales reps

    · Coordinate all tradeshow set up and assist design team with merchandising to ensure optimal sales for that season

    · Attend industry tradeshows in January/February and July/August with CEO and sales team

    · Deliver training and newsletters on a monthly basis to outside sales reps

    Customer Service:

    · Assist Office Manager with incoming calls, voicemails, and follow-up emails to ensure a seamless customer experience

    · Respond to social media, B2B Shopify, and 3rd party B2B ecommerce customer inquiries

     

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    · Experience with Quickbooks and invoicing

    · Knowledge of online retailers and B2B platforms

    · Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

    · Detail-oriented-able to proofread descriptions and product dimensions for accuracy

    · Ability to work cross-functionally to foster teamwork, open communication, and alignment across various functions and teams

    · Ability to thrive in fast-paced, start-up environment and context switching to perform necessary tasks each week

    · Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), particularly Excel

    · Must be active on social media platforms to leverage new methods of lead generation and outreach
