Responsibilities: • Process additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as required • Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages • Produce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general manager • Ensure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property • Delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, respond to guest inquiries and resolve guest complaints, process reservations and check-ins, and other front desk agent duties as required • Check-in guests, answer phones and take reservations • Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies • Balance the cash drawer and log receipts • Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts • Keep accurate financial records and ledgers • Help prepare for forecasts and audits • Prepare and distribute nightly reports to management Qualifications: • Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred • Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours • Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required • Some college is preferred but a high school diploma or equivalent is required • Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Driver's license required Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
