The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a full-time Crisis Call Specialist to join our Maine Crisis Line team. In this role you will answer calls, determine the nature of the crisis, assess and triage the needs of the caller, and provide phone-based services to meet that need. You will provide phone support and linkage to other services needed to assure continued stabilization and resolution of the crisis experience. You will work with a team of trained crisis providers with around the clock clinical consultation and support to provide evidence-based approaches to crisis service. The Crisis Call Specialist will utilize telephonic and computer-based technology to manage rapid response to calls, provide telephone crisis intervention, connect callers to services, and create quality documentation that supports the service and stabilization planning for the caller.
THIS IS A FULL TIME, 40 HOURS PER WEEK, HOURLY PAID POSITION BASED OUT OF SOUTH PORTLAND, ME.
