Hybrid F/T NYC

Compensation is from $110K to $150K Depending Upon Experience.

Description:

Responsible for the design and development of new web-based applications and enhancement of existing applications

•Develop and optimize database programs to support development during all stages of a project

•Understand and translate customer’s requirements and needs into technical solutions

•Translate knowledge from user’s interaction to generate and maintain proper documentation

•Participate in weekly meetings and maintain daily communication with users to compile comprehensive requirements information, provide recommendations and solutions

Analyze and translate business requests/requirements to functional requirements and technical specifications, develop and/or manage the development, perform code reviews, and work with IT and business areas to test and deliver the results in a timely manner

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of software development and testing experience required
• Minimum of five (5) years of solid development experience in building and enhancing applications and services using .Net, Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019. Strong experience in building and enhancing SQL server stored procedures, deploying and testing in various environments
• Experience in C#.Net, ASP.Net, MVC 5.0, .Net Core 2.0, ASP.Net Core MVC, building webservices using WCF, REST Web API, React Native for Mobile
• Experience in JavaScript, jQuery and responsive UI design using Bootstrap
• Experience with MS CRM Dynamics 2015 or later
• Familiar with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools like TFS or Azure DevOps
• Experience in writing unit tests to have 100% coverage, building automated test scripts (ATDD), performance testing and releasing them in production. Experience with testing tools like Selenium and JMeter a plus
• Developing mobile apps for iPhone and Android a plus
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, planning and organizational skills
• Ability to establish and meet target dates; must be able to multi-task effectively and handle multiple development projects
• Ability to build strong relationships with various internal and external sources including business owners

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule: 

• 5x8
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Alternating in office (1) week, work from home (1) week.

 Ability to commute/relocate: New York, NY 10036: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
