Our busy legal firm is looking for an efficient, organized, and detail-oriented legal assistant to help our attorneys and paralegals assist our clients and ensure we’re operating efficiently. You’ll assist with the preparation of legal documents, work with financial advisors to ensure our client's assets are properly transferred to their trust, and handle all office correspondence including answering phone calls and emails and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines. If you have experience in a professional services environment, work well under pressure, have strong customer service skills and attention to detail, and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in the legal industry, we want to connect with you. Responsibilities: • Build relationships by phone, email and in person • Work closely with legal team and paralegals to ensure client's assets have been properly transferred to their trust • Communicate with financial advisors and financial institutions regarding client assets • Communicate with clients regarding status of their estate plan and answer their questions • Meet deadlines, respond to emails and calls and handle office correspondence Qualifications: Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Applicants must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required • 1-2 years experience in a professional office environment such as financial services, banking or law firm • Strong attention to detail Compensation: $45,000 yearly
