    The Beautiful Park On Main Hotel located in Highlands NC within the majestic Appalachian Mountains is currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping Team. The Room Attendant is responsible for operations and cleanliness of the guest suites and public areas. Attention to detail and extreme pride in your work are the essential characteristics of the ideal candidate for this position.

    Our compensation package includes an $13.00 - $14.00 Hourly wage, medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, Life, 401k with match, vacation, PTO After 90 days, dining and travel discounts, special offers from our business partners, and discount programs for selected cell phone providers.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Complete all work delegated by managerial staff.

    Warmly greet guests.

    Ensure safety of all guests and guests’ belongings.

    Stock and organize housekeeping carts.

    Accommodate/service stay over guests by refreshing their rooms, removing trash, remove dirty terry and linens and making beds. Vacuum if necessary.

    Prepare departure rooms for arrival by getting trash, changing all linens and terry, dusting common areas, vacuum, cleaning and disinfecting bathroom area, and replenishing guest amenities..

    Other duties as assigned by Management.

    These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the position.

    Associate may be subjected extended periods of sitting and/or standing.

    Associate may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

    Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

    Required Skills and Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Verbal and written English language proficiency is required

    Strong interpersonal skills: ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful and flexible.

    Must be able to work with others and be team oriented.

    Previous Laundry and Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
