    We are searching for a highly professional applicant who possesses strong writing and organizational abilities to join our boutique law firm as an estate planning attorney. You will create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for our clients, educate them on matters of asset protection and tax planning, and guide survivors through the administration process after death. To guarantee that an estate is handled in accordance with the client's intentions, this role demands a high degree of responsibility and attention to detail. We are searching for an applicant with experience in estate planning. The successful applicant must be a caring, compassionate person who enjoys working as part of a team! This is a full-time, in-office position. Our Benefits include: • Health and Dental Insurance • 401K • Profit Sharing Plan • Long and Short Term Disability Insurance • 3 week of Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays Responsibilities: • Meet with clients, family members, and professional advisors to work toward establishing an estate plan that is tailor-made to each client's individual circumstances. • Communicate with clients about possible options for disbursing their assets at death. • Educate clients about options for structuring their estates to ensure the maximum amount of assets and tax protection. • Draft revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and other documents as necessary and appropriate for clients. • Work closely with paralegals and other team members to provide each client with the very best experience. • Promptly respond to all client inquiries and ensure work is completed in a prompt and professional manner. • Guide clients and family members through the process of administering an estate or trust through incapacity and after death. Qualifications: • Virginia Law license is required. • Experience working at a law firm on estate planning and probate matters for at least 2-3 years. • Working knowledge of wills, trusts, and property law. • Basic understanding of retirement asset planning and estate and gift tax laws. Compensation: $95,000
