  • Responsibilities

    The Phillips Collection's Internship program is open to full-time undergraduate students, full-time graduate students, and recent graduates. The purpose of the internship program is to offer students and recent graduates meaningful work, educational experiences, and real-life practice in their fields of academic study and/or interest. The Human Resources Intern performs a variety of administrative and operational duties that are aligned with strengthening organizational systems, policies and the employee experience (from recruitment through retirement). Duration: Internships run eight to twelve continuous weeks and 12-26 hours per week. Internship length and schedule may vary depending on the needs of the department. Academic Credit: Depending on the nature of the internship and approval of the student's college or university, academic credit may be granted for internships. Student applicants should consult their academic advisor for additional information. Please submit a rsum, letter of interest, two letters of recommendation, complete transcripts, and FAFSA document (if eligible). Duties & Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to): - Assists with the management of employee programs including the detail program, and training programs. - Aids in the research and development of Total Rewards program. - Routinely reports changes in industry trends and/or state and federal employment legislation. Will be required to research specific guidelines and regulations pertaining to employment law. - Attends employee meetings and other meetings that may be required from time to time. - Performance of additional administrative work as assigned.
