The Pool Factory is a swimming pool company located in Brooklyn, NY. We are currently seeking a Sales Associate who will be responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to customers in a retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong conversational skills, telephone etiquette, and problem solving skills. Responsibilities:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Present and describe company products and services to customers.
• Provide clients and potential clients with excellent customer service.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Assist walk-in and phone customers in a timely manner, representing the company in a professional manner.
• Assist customers with technical questions.
• Accurately locate and pull products from shelves.
• Maintain neat, professional product displays, changing displays once monthly.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Previous experience with sales and customer service, including answering phones, preferred.
• Strong counter presence and the ability to deal directly with customers for a large portion of the day.
• Must maintain a consistently positive, professional attitude when interacting with customers at all levels.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment dealing with inventory, product allocations and customer issues.
• Familiarity with a related product line such as pool supplies, parts, chemicals or pool construction a plus.
• An ability to learn the technical aspects of the swimming pool industry.
• Must be able to walk and stand for sustained periods of time.
• Good computer skills including MS Office programs.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• No pool building experience is required.
