    Sr. Operational Lead

    Full Time/Direct-Hire

    Site locations: ME, MA, CT, NJ, MD and FL (Will be required to travel between site locations when needed)

    Salary range: $150K-$225K (Based on experience)

    Position Summary:

    This Sr. Leadership position will lead operational management teams in the execution of the Company’s strategic plan to achieve the established business goals (Environmental, Health & Safety, Productivity, Quality, Schedule, Financial, Business Development, and Customer Relations).

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead by example fostering and maintaining a strong health and safety focused, One Team culture.
    • Actively mentor and develop others to achieve best performance and attainment of business strategic goals.
    • Actively engage in the performance evaluation process and compensation reviews to ensure the fair and equitable treatment of each team member.
    • Verify the execution of the work is following the established standard operating procedures and protocols of the company.
    • Support the team by analyzing performance, trouble shooting, and resolving problems that arise within project execution, including negotiations with clients as needed.
    • Work collaboratively with Finance and Management to proactively manage the P&L of projects to influence the team’s performance to ensure financial targets are met.
    • Foster and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.

       

      Qualifications / Requirements:

    • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline plus minimum ten years’ experience in successful project management related to commercial building, civil or mechanical construction (MEP). Construction management along with experience managing self-perform work preferred.
    • Project management experience in one or more of the following market sectors preferred: Life Sciences, Higher Education, Food and Beverage, Health Care, and/or Industrial Manufacturing preferred.
    • Must have significant competency in business principles, leadership/human relations and be a strategic thinker.
    • Must have a strong business acumen. Significant experience in P&L financial operations, budgeting, cost control, and negotiation.
    • Proven organizational leadership abilities.
    • Effective communicator in small and large groups.
    • Must work well under pressure and able to adapt quickly to changing demands.
    • Excellent customer service, business development, and sales competencies.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues while portraying a positive and professional image.
    • This position will require frequent travel and off hour time to support our business objectives.
