Our client is looking for an Environmental Staff Professional that has experience with environmental due diligence. This person will be in charge of proposal preparation, project planning, project execution, and client fulfillment. This position requires a commitment to complete projects and project tasks on time and within budgets.

Staff Professional:

1. Perform a full range of technical duties including the assessment of properties in order to collect data, samples and other information necessary to evaluate environmental conditions. Technical areas of expertise will primarily include those necessary to support the client's Earth Sciences Group (Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), underground storage tank (UST) and Brownfield services) and to a lesser degree our Building Services Group, with a focus on asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and other indoor air quality issues.
2. Provide technical-level support for environmental projects and collaborate with other project managers, project professionals and technicians on such projects.
3. Implement directives as given by project managers, project directors, and principals.
4. Prepare and review reports under the direction and support of project managers and directors.
5. Create, update, and revise standard operating procedures as necessary or directed.
6. Supervise internal technician field support.

Requirements:

• Technical expertise in Earth Sciences (Phase I and II ESA,    UST assessment, voluntary remediation services, etc.) and support in the Building Sciences (asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality-related services)
• 2-5 years or more experience in the environmental industry. Salaries will commensurate with experience.
• B.S. in Geology, Environmental, or related degree preferred.
