    Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION: MARKETING-SALES COORDINATOR

    Enhance exiting marketing materials, sales tradeshows, website and assist with development of new sales initiatives and strategies to increase sales for a leading national wholesaler with over 20+ years in business selling Commercial greenhouse and Retail Garden products.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·        Prepare, enhance & develop printed and digital marketing materials

    ·        Manage all seasonal tradeshows – budget, booth requirements, product assortment, set-up, break-down, and travel arrangements.

    ·        Coordinate all pre and post trade show marketing activities & promotions including customer & potential customer follow ups

    ·        Manage and Direct printed catalog distribution to existing customers using sales analysis data

    ·        Prepare marketing using sales analysis to summarize ROI marketing initiatives.

    ·        Maintain product showroom at company premise and coordinate all sample requests.

    ·        Prepare marketing & product assortments with presentations for product line reviews with key accounts & sales presentations.

    ·        Maintain positive communication with major customers

    ·        Assist with sales process as necessary – sales orders, inventory checks, shipping quotes, delivery status, etc.

    ·        Assist with sales report creation and data analysis of customers and products

    ·        Assist with annual sales and merchandizing budgets

    ·        Track and monitor monthly departmental spending

     

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    ·        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field

    ·        2 years’ experience in a similar role

    ·        Experience in trade show execution, direct marketing, budgeting & project management

    ·        Excellent PC skills including MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    ·        High level of accuracy, attention to detail and analytical skills

    ·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    ·        Willingness to travel to set up trade shows and presentations

    ·        Capable of managing own workload and confident in working with other teams in the company
