  • Responsibilities

    The Pro Fixer is seeking a skilled painter who has prior experience in the painting industry and has proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers to support the growth of our business. We're looking for a select few experienced, motivated and organized home improvement professionals that can work directly with customers to successfully complete current projects and open doors to future projects. All candidates should have great customer service skills.

    Salary & Benefits

    $15 to $35 an hour depending on experience and skill level

    Responsibilities

    As a painter you will coordinate and complete the prep and application of exterior and interior paint finishes in a residential or commercial setting.

    Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and quantities for projects

    Mix, match and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, stains, and varnishes for desired consistency and color.

    Ability to caulk, putty, cement and plaster holes.

    Work with customers on requests, pricing and work orders.

    Skills to troubleshoot customer issues with a professional and positive attitude.

    Requirements

    Previous experience in the painting industry - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment and supplies used

    Team player; strong collaboration skills

    Knowledge of appropriate materials and parts

    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and general public

    Be a self-starter with the ability to organize multiple projects, manage rapidly shifting priorities and produce tangible, measurable results

    Must have a valid drivers' license with good driving record and be insurable

    Education

    Technical /apprenticeship training a plus.

    Physical Demands

    Stand for long periods of time.

    Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

    Repeat the same movements.

    Bend or twist their body.

    Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles.

    Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.

    Walk or run for long periods of time.

    Experience

    Five years preferred in applicable fields listed above.
