Job Description

ThePub is hiring a Release Manager for its LA-based studio. We are open to candidates who are able to perform the role remotely. In this role, the RM will be the single point of contact for all project stakeholders (internal teams, external partners, and the client). 

Content Release Responsibilities include:

• Approve (publish) all production deployment workflows managing content integrity across environments.
• Manage internal and partner coordination of all releases
• Manage content sync to lower/upper environments
• Manage regression testing effort if needed
• Act as SME of all releases and timing dependencies. Monitoring and reporting on content publishing
• Identification of project risks, clear understanding and subsequent communication of interdependencies associated with content release schedule
• Workflow documentation, tracking, and release reporting 
• Release escalation
• Performing internal root cause analysis on all deployment issues

Qualifications

• 3+ years of digital project management, digital production, or release management experience

• Strong knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS). Adobe Experience Manager expertise is highly sought for this role

• Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams and internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent communication skills 

• Ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities at any given time

• Team player with an ability to motivate, coach, and mentor junior members of the team
