Are you the go to person for your technical friends when they have O365 problems?  Do you like working with business owners to define requirements?  Have you been identified as a leader in team settings in the past?  The Purple Guys, a progressive IT Support company, is expanding our team in Kansas City and seeking an experienced Office 365 Architect.

    This position will be a lead technical/project resource in the Kansas City area as we continue to grow and expand our team. You will be responsible for providing world class IT support for our customers in a variety of ways. You will be providing support to our customers, managing multiple projects across our various customers, performing the work and serving as a mentor and escalation point for technical issues and communicating project status to our customers. You will be supported by our current 43 person team.

    This position will be responsible for:

    • Serve as a Technical Leader in our Kansas City office, providing support for multiple customers
    • Leading the technical implementation process and serve as the trusted technical advisor throughout the Office 365/ Microsoft 365 implementation projects
    • Lead the scoping and creation of project plans
    • Provide Project Management oversight for on-going project efforts
    • Perform the actual project execution with the support of other team members as needed
    • Serve as an escalation resource for the technical team
    • Work with scheduling to ensure projects are completed on-time
    • Participate in daily project team debriefs
    • Participate in Customer Meetings and travel to customer sites as needed
    • Assist with pre-sales project scoping as needed

    The right candidate is well organized, has excellent communication, knows how to think on his or her feet, and brings exception critical thinking skills. A bachelor’s degree in a related field or experience would be preferred. 

    Special Skills/Qualifications Required:

    • 3+ years team leadership experience
    • 7+ years of IT consulting/system administration experience
    • 4+ years of Office 365 migrations
    • 4+ years of SharePoint design and administration
    • Extensive experience designing Office 365 solutions
    • Customer-focused
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to effectively handle competing priorities
