JOB TITLE: HR ASSISTANT (REMOTE) W/ HUMAN RESOURCES PROCESSING FEDERAL HR ACTIONS
LOCATION: DEPARTMENT OF VA, WASHINGTON, DC
DEPARTMENT: REMOTE
ADDITIONAL: 100% REMOTE, MUST RESIDE IN THE DC METRO AREA
CONTRACT: RAVENS GROUP, INC. /CONTRACTOR FULL-TIME POSITION ONE YEAR CONTRACT (with possible extension)
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 1 YEAR CONTRACT (UNTIL 08/2023)
START DATE: TBD (ASAP-2022)
SALARY: GREAT PAY/ NEGOTIABLE- Compensation is posted in the questionnaire
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Must be able to pass a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Standard VA background check
ADDITIONAL: MUST HAVE HUMAN RESOURCES PROCESSING FEDERAL HR ACTIONS (EXPERIENCE MUST SHOW ON RESUME OF PROCESSING FEDERAL HR ACTION EXPERIENCE)

PROJECT SUMMARY:
HRIS has mission requirements to sustain all HRIT systems and tools. HRIS supports incoming inquiries from HR offices regarding HRIT System Portfolio. The Government expects that the VA’s HRIT System Portfolio will receive approximately 33,000 tickets annually. The contractor shall provide seamless support and coordination for customer inquiries using trained personnel that are knowledgeable in HR Business Processes and HR Information Technology Systems in order to assure successful outcomes of sustaining HRIT systems and tools and support of incoming inquiries from HR offices.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Scope of Work: The role of the Helpdesk Technician / Technical Support Representative is to provide support to the clients by identifying problems, researching answers, guiding clients through corrective steps, evaluating procedures, processes, and other data. The technician is responsible for responding to client tickets within specified timeframe as identified in individual contract. Resolving issues or escalate appropriately. Providing professional and capable Tier 1 end-user support. Performing other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2 years of experience processing FEDERAL human resources actions other
than payroll as an HR generalist or similar position.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Outlook, PowerPoint,
and Excel.
· Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be able to use web-based tools such as online document sharing.
· Must have high speed internet and reliable telephone service.
· Must have a quiet telework environment that is conducive to helpdesk support.
