    SUMMARY

    A person in this position functions under the working title of Outpatient Site Supervisor. Assignments are varied in nature and are performed under the direct supervision of the Outpatient Regional Director.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Interviews applicants for vacant positions and makes recommendations for hire. Assigns and evaluates work of the Outpatient therapy staff, including evaluation and assignment of caseloads.

    Abides by all current Behavioral Health Services and Outpatient policies and procedures as set forth by the agency and documents all required aspects of job duties. Maintains compliance with state and local regulations as well as standards of practice.

    Applies psychological principles, methodology, and techniques to plan treatment and modify behavior and participates in a multi-disciplinary team meetings while providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy from Intake through discharge; provides community linkages as required.

    Provides and documents supervision and training of assigned personnel including assigning and reviewing work, performance evaluations and tracks and completes administrative reports such as chart audits, caseload assignments, satisfaction surveys, and other statistical program data as assigned.

    Maintains consistency and ensures compliance with all state regulations, policies, and procedures and promptly responds to unusual incidents, accidents, and grievances per relevant policy and procedure and serves as Behavioral Health Services representative on committees.

    Participates in and conducts staff development, in-service training sessions, supervision and Performance Quality Improvement initiatives

    Reviews staff schedules routinely and makes recommendations regarding need for additional staff or reduction of staff hours.

    Performs related work as required.

    Provides weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly supervision to Outpatient therapists as appropriate

    TRAVEL

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    A master’s degree in psychology, clinical social work, or related field and three years’ experience in the field

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    One year experience in a supervisory role preferred

    Professional licensure preferred.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    PA Driver’s license required

    Professional licensure a plus

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Language Skills

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to read, understand, and abide by all policies and procedures for agency and program as well as all State regulations and COA standards.

    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as simple addition and time keeping. Ability to calculate productivity and evaluate scheduling expectations

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to define problems, and perform required job duties during emergency situations. Ability to evaluate a crisis situation and determine most appropriate form of intervention i.e. mobile crisis or 911 services.
