KEY RESPONSIBILITY 

• Deliver excellent English language lessons and guidance to students across the globe! 
• Create a fun and engaging classroom environment by facilitating one-on-one or group class instruction and ensuring world-class teaching methods are implemented 
• Lead discussions, assess student performance and provide constructive feedback within a 24-hour time frame

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• Tertiary education –Bachelor's Degree  
• Accredited 120 Hours or above TEFL, TESOL, TEYL, CELTA  
• A passion for English and command of all aspects of the language  
• You are an American, Canadian, or British Citizen
• Experience in tutoring Science and Business Finance Subjects is advantageous 
• Highly computer literate 
• Excellent computer skills 
• Clear criminal record  
• Engaging and inspiring communication skills 
• Punctual and precise timekeeping 
• Available to fit into an allocated teaching shift slot 
• Great, tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment  
• All hardware and technical requirements as detailed below

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

To be considered at TRGTC the below is the minimum Technical Requirements 

Applicants Must Have:

1. PC specifications

• Processor: Intel ® Core™ i3 CPU @2.70GHz (4 CPUs) or greater
• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater

2. Internet connection:

• Must be a good internet connection (CABLED, NOT WIFI) connection
• Minimum of 10 Mbps upload and download speed

3. Headsets should have a noise-cancelling feature

4. Camera should be HD

POSITION DETAILS: 

• Start Date: Immediate 
• Location: Work from the comfort of your home, teaching students across the globe! 
• Teaching Scheduling: Required to teach a minimum of 6 hours of lessons from Tuesday to Thursday in the peak teaching hours of 6 pm - 8 pm (Beijing time zone).  
• Students: You will teach students in the age range 6-18 years. In addition to teaching English, you will also be required to assist with Science and Finance material 
• Training: Training and ongoing professional development throughout the contract. 
• Remuneration: Set base rate of $20USD per hour with additional performance bonuses
• You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider

3. Once all the above requirements have been met the recruitment team will arrange a video interview with you to assess your application and provide you with the opportunity to learn more about TRGTC 
4. Your profile is shared with our hiring managers who then assess your application and provide the recruitment team with feedback to schedule your interview with the internal hiring team. 
5. The second round of interviews with the hiring manager to inform the applicant of their expectations and to ensure you have the correct technical requirements. 
6. Should you be successful in the above steps you will be offered a contract of employment of which you have 48 hours to review and sign. 
7. Upon signing your contract, you will begin the onboarding process with TRGTC
