Staff Accountant [Hybrid]

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Flexible **** | Salary: $65,000 annually

A tenured real estate development and construction company is seeking a staff accountant. This position will apply accounting principles to assist management with invoicing, analyzing financial information, budget management, and preparing standard reports. Staff Accountant ’s Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close processes.
• Prepare the month end financial statement package.
• Review operating budgets.
• Review accounts receivable and coding of accounts payable invoices.
• Prepare single tenant property invoices and collections analysis report.
• Complete monthly financial variance analysis and submit lender covenant reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors for interim review and audits.

Staff Accountant ’s Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting role.
• Home Building industry preferred.
• Excel -Intermediate level; knowledge of data analytics.
• NetSuite is plus.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
