Company Description
ABOUT US:
The Ring of Democracy began as a conversation about how we believed it was important to promote enfranchisement for all American people regardless of race, religion, economic status or sexual orientation.
We believe it is essential that we as a people have a system for choosing government leaders through free and fair elections. We also felt that we needed to promote the active participation of citizens in politics to fulfill their civic duties. Lastly, we believe in the protection of the human rights of all in which the laws and policies apply equally to all people.
Our goal is to address the lack of influence of some communities by educating voters about their civic duties, how public policies affect them and eligible candidates running for office. This will help us ensure that there is a strong and knowledgeable voter base that can influence and impact political decisions that affect their communities.
The desired results include creating a generation of leaders and promoting an image of empowered youth. We want to build and maintain coalitions of small businesses, political organizations and community members across the state that can bring young leaders and key innovators together to share ideas and develop a plan that can help promote our vision.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
The Ring of Democracy will be working in coordination with the California COVID-19 Community Health and Workplace Outreach Project (CWOP) to help improve outreach to certain workers in Sacramento about COVID-19 health & safety laws as well as vaccine concerns to help reduce the prevalence of the disease in Sacramento.
We are looking for Phone Bankers to join our team! You will be responsible for making outbound calls to people in a pre-populated list via an online software to increase brand awareness of project/campaign issues.
