We're looking for a reliable CNC Machine Operator to safely and accurately operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery for various tasks. The ideal candidates should have strong attention to detail and a good grasp of trigonometry, geometry, and algebra. They should also possess analytical, time management, and communication skills, and be eager to learn and set an example.

Location: Broadview Heights

Pay $25/hr.

Contract Role into 2024 - could extend based on performance and need.

Responsibilities:

Interpret work orders and blueprints (including materials, specifications, and geometric dimensions and tolerances) to accurately machine products.

Inspect equipment, structures, materials, and products.

Load raw materials and parts onto the machines.

Monitor machine operations and suggest adjustments for better results.

Use precision measuring tools to inspect and measure products, ensuring they meet requirements.

Document actions by completing production and quality logs.

Perform daily checks and maintenance of machinery to ensure proper functionality.

Follow safety procedures and regulations for safe operations.

Maintain open and honest communication.

Stay updated with the latest relevant knowledge.

Exhibit ethical behavior, attention to detail, self-motivation, precision, and enforce quality standards.

Desired Skills and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

A certificate or diploma in engineering or a related discipline is a plus.

Previous experience with Mazak (lathes & mills) and Citizen (Swiss) is a plus.

Proficiency in programming and interpreting CNC software is a plus.

Experience with operating a tow motor is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are a plus.

Ability to troubleshoot processes, adjust and reprogram controls, change inserts, and replace worn tools is a plus.
