We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics and Order Fulfillment Coordinator with a background in purchasing, and expediting.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a large distribution warehouse, with a strong focus on electrical supplies.

This role involves managing customer orders, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely delivery of products, working with the sales team in the field and verifying stock.

This position will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining efficient operations within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.

Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring on-time delivery.

Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipment updates, and any potential delays.

Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and tracking of orders.

Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper inventory levels and accurate order fulfillment.

Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure timely procurement of electrical supplies and other products as required.

Expedite orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the fulfillment process.

Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory levels.

Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and resolving any concerns.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall customer fulfillment processes and identify areas for operational efficiency.

Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and best practices related to logistics, purchasing, and expediting.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large distribution warehouse, with a focus on electrical supplies preferred.

Strong knowledge and understanding of logistics, purchasing, and expediting processes.

Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and documentation.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues related to order fulfillment and logistics.

Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Knowledge of electrical supplies and related industry standards is highly desirable.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or education is a plus.

This is a contract to hire position - onsite in Missouri City.

Not a remote role. You will be onsite.
