RockCreek is looking for a 2L, 3L or LLM student who is interested in finance, has a desire to acquire hands-on experience, and is comfortable working in a flat, tight-knit team environment. The intern will: 

• Work with a diverse team on all legal and compliance aspects engaged in by an SEC registered investment manager
• Receive personalized mentorship from General Counsel and legal and compliance team.
• Apply critical thinking and solid communications skills to review legal, transaction and regulatory documentation. 
• Train alongside legal and compliance team to gain expertise. 
• Immerse yourself in asset management legal and compliance issues.

Qualifications

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCES:

• A familiarity with Excel, and databases is a plus.  
• A strong academic record with a set of extra-curricular activities/experiences showing leadership and service to the community.
• Ability to succeed in a Washington, DC and hybrid/remote office setting.
