    TITLE:    IT INFRASTRUCTURE CONSULTANT

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Reports to the Professional Services Manager
    • vCIOs give expert IT consultation and guidance to SMBs 
    • Not all vCIO services are equal—be sure that your MSP is providing the services you require 
    • A positive and productive relationship between the vCIO and the decision maker is essential and necessary
    • A vCIO is efficient and cost-effective for SMBs pursuing managed IT services on a budget

    EXPERIENCE:

    •  Ten (10+) years in the Managed Service Provider/Systems Integrator industry (more than internal IT)
    •  Holds or has held major technical certifications (i.e., Microsoft, ITIL, PMP, Cisco etc.)
    •  Held a management position
    •  Pre-sales experience
    •  Experience in prioritizing projects
    •  Managed multiple accounts
    •  Managed $100K+ projects
    •  Has authored:
    1. Roadmaps
    2. Functional Designs
    3. Finding and Recommendations Documents
    4. Scope/Statements or Work
    5. Response for Information (RFI)
    6. Response for Proposal (RFP)
    7. Technology Business Cases

    TECHNICAL:

    • Compliance needs
    • Near- and long-term IT projects and expenses
    • Support metrics and satisfaction scores 
    • Completed and in-flight projects
    • Relationship health and partnership alignment
