Cosmetology Instructor Duties and Responsibilities
Summary: The Salon Professional Academy- Howell NJ requires that its Cosmetology Instructor will be responsible for educating students in preparation for the industry through both theory and practical instruction by performing the following duties.
- Follow School policies and procedures.
- Attends staff meetings.
- Participates in classroom teaching on campus.
-Responsible for student salon training area teaching.
- Responsible for preparation of TSPA lesson plans prior to class and the student salon area.
- Participates in student coaching sessions.
- Monitors student attendance and grades daily and weekly.
Assists the front desk support staff.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
Student Teacher OR Cosmetology Instructor License
