The Sam Bernstein Law firm is seeking a dynamic professional to join our high volume office as a Pre-Suit Legal Assistant. Personal Injury Law experience a plus! This role can be performed on a hybrid schedule (2 days per month or 2 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer support to potential clients in a timely and efficient manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that includes handling multiple calls
• Monitor cases for follow-up calls
• Strong understanding of Personal Injury, especially Auto 1st and 3rd

Requirements

• 1-2 Years of experience as a Claims Adjuster
• Case management skills
• Experience with utilizing a diary system
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, local court/jurisdiction rules and adhere to law office procedures
• Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to multi-task, possess excellent communication skills (written and oral) and be a team player
• Well organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with a large team
• Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and overall attention to detail
