Sand Trap, an upscale golf simulator and bar located in Lexington, Kentucky, is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Manager. This role is crucial as the face of our business, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Position: Bar Manager Salary: $18 hourly + substantial tips and potential bonuses Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Bar Inventory: Oversee stock levels, order supplies, and ensure the bar is well-stocked and organized.

Draw in Corporate Traffic: Develop and implement strategies to attract corporate clients for events and regular visits.

Manage Events: Coordinate and manage private events, including birthday parties, corporate gatherings, and other special occasions.

Manage Schedule: Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations.

Financial Oversight: Communicate with our accountant monthly to confirm sales, payroll, expenses, and other financial reports.

Team Leadership: Lead by example, providing guidance and support to the staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.

Requirements:

Experience: Ideally, 2+ years in a management role within the hospitality industry.

Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial reporting and payroll management.

Customer Focus: A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
