Responsibilities: • Be responsible for the overall success of the daily culinary operations, with an emphasis on surpassing guest expectations while driving revenue and profit • Set and monitor performance criteria for team members, as well as provide advice and direction to support and maintain an efficient kitchen • Create new and unique menu items and specials using various ingredients in an innovative way • Teach recruits and hire staff that suit the business culture to provide a welcoming atmosphere for kitchen employees • Manage controllable department expenses such as food, supplies, uniforms, equipment, and collaborate with vendors to achieve the highest quality products at the most reasonable price Qualifications: • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Strong leadership skills with experience leading, motivating, and developing a team • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate • Must have 7-8 years of culinary experience for this role Compensation: $65,000 yearly
